Murals are one of the most complex forms of street art, but visionary street artists INSANE 51 found a way to take them to a whole new level. He’s giving us two incredible paintings for the price of one with his viral 3D murals.

At the first glance, these murals look like overlapping pictures, and they mostly come in striking blue and red color combo. They’re impressive as they are, but the real magic happens once you put on 3D glasses and realize what’s hiding behind them.

INSANE 51 uses anaglyph 3D to create his murals, and that’s what makes them so incredible. This technique usually involved the use of red and cyan colors because they create the most impressive effect. To get an amazing portrait such as this one, all you have to do is cut a cardboard box, making enough room to place your head inside, arrange the leaves around your head, and have someone snap an epic pic.

You can repeat the same process with pretty much anything and chestnuts are another popular option for the fall. Dambeck’s box photos are the perfect idea for gloomy and cold autumn days when you don’t feel like lying on the ground, but you can take them during any other season.

YouTube is the internet’s No. 1 source of DIY inspiration, especially once you discover the channels that are constantly posting amazing content. Drew Scott of Lone Fox is the mastermind behind one of those channels and he’s here to teach you to pull off some of the trendiest DIY tricks.

Scott started his channel back in 2011 and attracted over 850,000 subscribers so far. His main goal is to provide his fans with their daily dose of DIY, but many of his videos focus on home makeovers and renovations.

One of our favorite things about Lone Fox is that he’s keeping up with the latest home décor trends, especially in the world of DIY. If you see something you like on TikTok or Pinterest, but aren’t sure you can afford it, it’s highly likely you’ll get to learn how to make it in one of his tutorials.

His videos are super-fun and very informative at the same time since he shows each step of the DIY process and lists all the tools and materials you’ll need along the way. Dmitry Reutov’s Interior Design Projects are Bursting with Color

Many interior designers working these days take a minimalist approach to their craft, but not Dmitry Reutov. The founder of Reutov Design Studio is decorating homes with vibrant and quirky home décor pieces, and a vibrant splash of colors is the signature trait of his work.

Reutov founded his studio in 2007 and embarked on a quest to create brightly colored interior designs that fill our lives with energy and happiness. While discussing his approach with Nueve36Am, he described colors as the most important interior design component because they have the power to change any room and make it what you want.

Instead of trying to make the spaces he designs neutral, he’s making them pop with a splash of pink, green, and blue shades, ranging from bright tones to dreamy pastels. Unusual shapes are also one of his signature touches, and he often draws inspiration from natural elements, such as dessert cactuses and forest landscapes.

Over the years, Reutov designed lavish apartments all around the world, but most of his clients are based in Moscow and New York. He believes that brightness, colors, and unusual shapes help each space convey emotions, and that’s why he made them the signature traits of his designs.

Selkie’s Dresses are Straight Out of Your Wildest Tulle Dreams

Many fashion brands made a name for themselves with whimsical tulle designs, but no one is doing it better than Selkie. Their puff tulle dresses are what dreams are made of, and we’re in love with every single one.

This brand borrows its name from Scottish mythology, where selkies represent mythical creatures of the ocean who can change from seal to human form by shedding their skin. Brand’s founder Kimberley Gordon loved this story as a child and felt that Selkie was the perfect name for her brand because it gave women a chance to transform into their true selves.

Gordon’s love for folklore guided her creative process, and she ended up crafting a series of beautiful dresses that she calls “fanciful, nostalgic, and extra romantic.” Selkie is now best known for its puff dresses, made with tulle and other light and dreamy materials that either come in pastel colors or feature colorful, floral prints.

Another thing that we love about Selkie is that they offer beautiful clothes to women of all body shapes, as their sizing ranges from XXS to 5X. They’re also a low-waste company, and they tend to test the success of their products before making them available for pre-order, in an attempt to reduce waste.

Cedar+Spruce Studios is Taking Stained Glass Art to a New Level

Stained glass art is one of the most underrated art forms out there, but it’s also one of the most magical. If you still haven’t discovered its beauty, Cedar+Spruce Studios will help you fall in love with stained glass art and never look back.

This tiny studio was founded back in 2016, by self-thought artist Molly Jackson, who is based in Wisconsin. Her stained glass designs and crafting techniques are evolving all the time and she tends to take things to a whole new level with each creation.

One thing that most of her designs have in common is the fact they’re inspired by nature. In addition to taking the form of trees, leaves, and sunsets, some of them are even decorated with pressed flowers that make them even more whimsical.

Cedar+Spruce Studios’ creations are available in several tiny craft stores across the US, but most people shop for them at the brand’s Etsy page. Frank Gehry’s Most Spectacular Buildings You Can Find in the U.S.

Frank Gehry is one of the pioneers of modern architecture, and his imposing creations are scattered all around the world. If you want to explore the most spectacular buildings he built in the U.S., these three are a good place to start.

Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, California)

Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of Gehry’s signature buildings and it perfectly encapsulates his work at large. Its curving stainless steel skin is reminiscent of silver sails, and there’s no other building in Los Angeles that comes even close to its beauty.

Museum of Pop Culture (Seattle, Washington)

This is one of Gehry’s most polarizing building, but it perfectly fits the theme of the museum it houses. Its shape is supposed to represent a smashed electric guitar and it’s instantly recognizable thanks to its fusion of shimmering metallic, red, blue, and purple tiles.

Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (Las Vegas, Nevada)

Unlike the previous two buildings, this one isn’t a tourist attraction for any other reason but its extravagant exterior that we owe to Frank Gehry. Like many of his buildings, this one has a metal-clad skin, but what makes it unique is the unusual design that makes it seem like it’s starting to fold into itself.

Designed by renowned American architect, Frank Gehry, the facility opened in 2010 as part of the Cleveland Clinic. Our friend and streetwise critic suggests that the building – with its folds, creases, contours, and crinkled edges- well, the building even looks like a brain. Fecal Matter’s Latest Collection is Hauntingly Beautiful

Canada based designer duo Fecal Matter, or Matières Fécales, are best-known for their extraterrestrial style transformations, over-the-top accessories, and their spooky hair and makeup looks. The couple behind Fecal Matter are designers Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, and they’ve released a full collection with Depop that’s a bit more wearable, but just as villainous.

SS21 “Faith of the Fallen” During this era of chaos and corruption, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the anxiety of the state of the world. This collection is an exercise of hope and faith during this global pandemic. Questioning the relevance of faith and belief systems within society today with so much panic and uncertainty, how can one still feel hopeful? We went deep into comparing our catholic religious upbringings with our current freedom of self in order to explore our perspective on spirituality. As young creatives, we are surrounded by so much skepticism and rejection of all that promotes conformity. Yet on the inside, we still yearn to believe in something greater than ourselves. Each look encapsulates our current reliance on faith but our need for freedom. Juxtaposing symbols of catholicism with our extreme gender expression, our Spring Summer 2021 collection entitled Faith of the Fallen offers a form of deconstructed spirituality. The collection is a mix of gothic and old Hollywood influences and includes white corset and skirt sets, a pink dress cinched with chains, a sweater shrug that exposes the chest, and a chocker with six-inch nails hanging from it. The inspiration is just as broad, “People wouldn’t expect us to look towards Marilyn Monroe for beauty inspiration. But I love juxtaposing, so for us it’s always important,” Dalton told Vogue. 

The collection is named “Faith of the Fallen”, which fits perfectly as structure and religion are also huge parts of the collection with crosses a key design element.

Prior to the lockdown, the duo was selling one-offs like leather fanny packs with a dildo handle and a torn hoodie with the world “Provoke” on the front. When the lockdown hit, they were able to expand their designs to a full collection.
