Eden Kozokaro’s Micro Tattoos Are Inspired by Pop Culture

Pop culture often serves as an important source of inspiration for many tattoo artists, including Eden Kozokaro. His body art often pays homage to his favorite movies, comic books, and TV shows, and his affinity for micro tattoo designs makes them truly unique.

Kozokaro is based in Israel, and his Instagram page Kozo Tattoo attracted over 600,000 followers since its inception. His mini colored tattoos are mostly inspired by Studio Ghibli, Pixar, and Marvel movies, but he doesn’t limit himself to creating pop-culture inspired body art.

Kozokaro decided to focus on micro-body art because he wanted to apply his classical painting knowledge within a smaller size. His tattoos proved to be a perfect fit for people who aren’t ready to commit to anything big but still want to have a colorful and eye-catching tattoo.

The Israeli tattoo artist believes that less is more when it comes to body art, and tries to design “as minimalistically as possible.” Pop culture isn’t the only thing that inspires him—many of his creations happen to pay homage to famous works of art.
