Over the past few months, we’ve been spending a lot of time at home including working from home. If you haven’t set up a home office, now’s the perfect time to do it as we’ll probably be working from home for a while. The right office isn’t complete without the right wall color and some colors even have positive psychological effects like stimulating your brain and making you feel calmer. If you’re not sure what color to paint your home office, we’ve rounded up our favorite hues.
Yellow
It’s hard to be in a bad mood when your walls are painted yellow and the bright color really livens up a room.
Green
Green is calming and energizing, which will help you when you’re feeling under pressure. Keep the accents neutral in golds, silvers, or whites so the room doesn’t look messy.
Navy
Navy is a neutral that’s a nice change from black, white, or brown walls. It’s versatile and you’ll feel productive getting work done in this office.
Blue
Go for a lighter blue which is cool and calming and it will help you stay focused on your daily tasks.
Pink
While pink may not be ideal for everyone, if you love the color, pink walls can boost your creativity and concentration.
