You don’t have to be a huge fashion lover to appreciate a good fashion illustration—especially if they’re created by Ramona Chantaf. She’s the mastermind behind some of the most magical fashion illustrations on Instagram, and we wouldn’t mind seeing some of her dresses on the red carpet.
Chantaf is based in Sweden and describes herself as a fulltime UX designer, who enjoys illustrating and painting on the side. Her Instagram page Atelier Chantaf has almost 50,000 followers, and one of her illustrations even made it to the Indian version of Harper’s Bazaar.
It goes without saying that Chantaf usually draws inspiration from fashion, and Zuhair Murad and Valentino seem to be among her favorite designers. It’s not uncommon for her to draw illustrations inspired by the runway and red carpet looks, but the majority of her illustrations happen to be designs of her own making.
Chantaf is pretty versatile when it comes to painting, and she enjoys using everything from watercolors to metallic acrylics to bring her illustrations to life. There’s something truly magical about them, and we’re really hoping she’ll give fashion design a shot one day because her gowns would look even more amazing if they were real.
