Min Zumi’s Tattoos Look Like Sewn-on Patches

When it comes to tattoo artists, we had pretty much seen it all until we came across this tattoo artist whose work looks like sewn-on fabric patches. Min Zumi of Authentic Ink Sydney, Australia, has a very unique style. If you love retro patches, he’s your guy. His work looks super realistic due to the attention to detail he puts in and his lines look like stitching.

The artist’s passion started after he got his first tattoo. “It was very exciting. The outcome was great and so I realized that I also wanted to be able to design and create the same excitement for others,” he told Bored Panda. His style developed after researching and working with professionals in the field.

Zumi’s work often celebrates pop-culture with some of his best pieces being Banjo-Kazooie, Son Goku, and Daisy Duck-inspired. The fine details in his work are an effect of thin lines varying in colors and shades, which create the illusion of threads. It’s a long process, that requires a lot of planning and attention to detail, but Zumi also finds it incredibly rewarding. In fact, each session with the artist takes between three to six hours and costs around $200 per hour.

What do you think of his intricate designs? Would you be interested in getting a tattoo from Zumi?
