The Irish fashion and textiles designer Hope Macaulay started her namesake brand in 2018 and found instant fame with her kaleidoscopic knitwear and fantasy prints. It didn’t take her long to get approval from several A-list celebrities, including Halsey and Bella Hadid.
Macaulay designs are inspired by her “fascination with the mind, distortion, reality, and surrealism.” She’s trying to craft a bold and vivid experience with each piece of clothing she designs, ranging from knit cardigans and tops to surreal suits, bags, and accessories.
Chunky knitted pieces may not be the only thing that Macaulay has in store, but they’re her biggest hits due to their lively, pastel colors. It also doesn’t hurt their case that they’re made with a high quality 100% jumbo merino wool, which looks like the coziest thing you could possibly wear on a cold and windy day.
