Christine Tenenholtz is Chasing Rainbows With Her Colorful Ceramic Creations

If you love surrounding yourself with quirky and colorful home décor pieces, Christine Tenenholtz’s ceramics will fit right into your home. Her rainbow-themed pottery will welcome a splash of colors into your life and put a smile on your face.

With 100,000 Instagram followers under her belt, Tenenholtz made a name for herself in the world of ceramics, but she wasn’t always interested in this art form. She dabbled in needlework and sewing in her youth, and later switched to photography, but pottery was the last thing on her mind.

“I cannot recall a time in my life when I did not yearn to create… high school and at university I studied photography, not venturing behind the door marked ‘ceramic studio’ even once. It literally did not interest me. I find that hilarious and absolutely mind-blowing,” she explains on her official website.

Tenenholtz finally fell in love with pottery after a friend convinced her to take an evening ceramics class at a community studio following her college graduation. She spent the next six months learning the wheel, and she’s been captivated by clay ever since.

Tenenholtz now runs her small studio from Albuquerque, New Mexico, mostly focusing on pottery while her son is helping her with the logistics. She dedicated three decades of her life to this craft, and her creations prove that life is all sunshine and rainbows after all.
